Features of the chemical composition of water in the urban lakes of Murmansk

The article presents the results of studies hydrochemical composition five urban lakes Murmansk. It was found that chemical water studied is significantly different from northeastern part Murmansk region Barents Sea catchment, which taken as background. pH values have increased in comparison with background values, well mineralization, content major ions, nutrients, and heavy metals. An increase main cations alkaline alkaline-earth metals (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+ и K+), anions (HCO3–, SO42–, Cl–), associated influence environments, including use reagents for deicing roads. Due to influx marine aerosols waters lakes, other (Li Rb) (Sr Ba) metals, B Br, increased. Mineralization ten times higher than recorded catchment. In compounds nitrogen group, especially ammonium ion, increased, indicates formation a restorative environment has detrimental effect on hydrobionts. Lakes Ledovoe Yuzhnoe are most polluted among characterized by highest above-mentioned indicators, many (Ni, Cu, Zn, Co, As, Mo W). At same time, there decrease organic substances due inhibition biological processes.
